This hotel is a castle-monastery from the 12th-13th century, located in the town of Alcaniz, province Teruel. The keep tower, the bell tower, the sacristy and the part reconverted into an Aragonese Palace are still preserved till today. The visitors can appreciate its gothic murals, a plateresque sepulchre, baroque facade or just have a walk around its peaceful garden.
The Parador de Alcaniz has three dining areas: the restaurant La Concorde and the Parador Café with an elegant palatial decoration and the Terrace of the Cloister for summer with majestic views of the keep tower. The balconies of the restaurant La Concordia offers a relaxing view of Guadalope river calmly passing through the valley and the big windows illuminate in a natural light this distinguished space. The parador´s cuisine includes dishes like beans from El Pilar, borage, beef of Aragon, Aragonese cod, ham of Teruel and peaches of Calanda.
