Uno de los últimos diseños que David Delfín ha creado para Bathco, el decorado ALI, nos recuerda este movimiento artístico. Además, ALI es quizá el trabajo más personal de David Delfín, se trata de un homenaje a la perrita que le acompañó durante 15 años.
The Urban Art, whose most representative icon is the graffiti, continues inspiring the art world, design and fashion. This artistic expression, which was born on the streets, forms part nowadays of art galleries, locals or even houses which wish to evocate this abandoned, rogue and completely cosmopolitan style.
One of the latest designs that David Delfin has created for Bathco, is pattern ALI, re-minding us to this artistic movement. Moreover, ALI is perhaps Delfin’s most personal work, it is a tribute to his dog that accompanied him for 15 years.
This design take us back to the streets of New York in the 70s, flooded of this urban art, and which today remains as a reference in cities like Madrid where the designer has his residence. It is there, in the Spanish capital, where David and Ali have traversed the streets full of graffitis that act as a speaker for the social thinking of the time.

Bathco´s spirit for innovation leads to look for new sources of inspiration, exploring other fields which apparently may result alien to the bathroom sector, but which share with us the passion for design and continuous innovation. As a result of this concern, arises the collaboration of Bathco with the Spanish renowned fashion designer, David Delfin. Consequently, a collection with three patterns has born – Diamond, Ants and Flash -. In 2016, this collection has been expanded with three new patterns: Ali, Jelly-fish y Pink Flamingos.
