“Less is more” is the most famous quote by Mies Van der Rohe, arquitect and industrial designer, who has positively influenced designers and contemporary artists such as David Delfin.
The ultimate expression of design and modern architecture have led to minimalism, a stream seeking from its source to reduce everything to the essentials: strip objects overstock items, simplify everything to the minimum... Softness, serenity and order, no excesses and harshness is what is present in Jellyfish pattern that seeks to convey through its minimal expression.
This minimalist proposal is within Bathco by David Delfin collection. If it is integrated in a sober space without excessive ornamentation, Jellyfish achieves a very harmonious and elegant result. For the designer, jellyfishes "have always generated fascination: its shapes, textures, transparencies and colors seem from another planet. They are beings that react to light whose watery and undulating movements have inspired this design”.
