June 10, 2024 · News update

Bathco participates in the first multi-sector trade mission of the 2024 International Promotion Action Plan organized by SODERCAN (Society for the Development of Cantabria) and the Cantabria Chamber of Commerce. The event is taking place from June 10 to 14 with stops in San Francisco (California) and Dallas (Texas).

A boost to internationalization

Bathco has joined eight other prominent companies from Cantabria in this multi-sector trade mission. Each of them represents the diversity and dynamism of the Cantabrian business fabric, with presence in sectors such as metalworking, electrical, engineering, wood, and more. For Bathco, specialized in the supply of healthcare products, this mission represents a crucial opportunity to explore new business opportunities and consolidate relationships with potential customers and importers in the United States.

Internationalization is considered a fundamental pillar to strengthen the economic competitiveness of Cantabria, promote the growth of the industry and generate employment. And this is the main objective of this plan promoted by the Department of Industry, Employment, Innovation and Commerce of the Government of Cantabria: increase the number of exporting companies, diversify export markets, incorporate talent in the regional export sector and promote innovation and digitalization in internationalization.

Future missions

After this mission to the United States, the International Promotion Action Plan will continue with destinations in Mexico (September 30 to October 4) and Colombia and Uruguay at the beginning of November. Bathco is proud to be part of this internationalization effort, always seeking to expand its reach and strengthen its presence in global markets.
