Design in this architectural studio

In the centre of Murcia, L’Aura Ortín has transformed a mezzanine into a workspace that combines function and beauty. This 55 m² studio has been renovated in 2025 with a design conceived to inspire and connect.

A place with soul

Laura Ortín, an architect, believes that a workspace should feel like a home. Her studio reflects this idea: two glass facades fill the place with natural light, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The design is organized into three zones: a meeting room, a bathroom in a capsule and an “eternal garden” with lattices and curved curtains that invite you to relax.

Materials with personality

The materials used are key to transmitting sensations and taking care of the environment:

  • Sprayed plaster: Improves acoustics and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Glossy cement floor: Modern and elegant, it transforms an industrial material into something sophisticated.
  • Wood and steel: A balanced combination of warmth and modernity.
  • Pink mosaic tiles with red joints: In the bathroom, this detail adds a fun and eye-catching touch.

The bathroom includes Bathco pieces, such as the Bari washbasin and the pedestal, which fit perfectly with the cheerful mosaic design.

Designs that inspire

L’Aura Ortín is not just a work studio, it is a space that invites you to stay and create. Every detail tells a story, making design a tool to improve the quality of life and foster creativity.
