From the careful selection of materials to the optimization of natural resources, this project demonstrates how design can merge style with sustainability, without compromising the user experience. A home can nourish the body, the mind and the planet.
From the beginning of the project, the main objective was clear: to create a space that exudes calm and harmony. After thoroughly understanding the client’s needs, the Studio Apart Design team embarked on a journey to bring that vision to life.
The distribution of the spaces was defined according to the materials used. Oak became the common thread, outlining the private areas of the home and providing a sense of continuity. From the floors to the furniture, oak became the common language that unified all spaces, creating a coherent and harmonious experience.
The color and selected materials had a significant impact in creating a versatile environment. For example, a meeting room can be transformed into a dining room, or an office can evolve into a home theater. This capacity for change and adaptation ensures that the house adjusts perfectly to the different moments and requirements of its inhabitants.
The bathrooms, conceived as spaces for calm and personal care, became true sanctuaries within this house. Here, the customer experience was the absolute priority. Imagine enjoying a shower while taking in panoramic views of the fields. This unique approach to bathroom design with the Nilo washbasin demonstrates how attention has been paid to every detail to provide an exceptional experience.
As a final touch, it was established that the house should be designed to be self-sufficient, following the methodology of passive house techniques. This implied improving the insulation and using little processed materials as far as possible, with the aim of optimizing the available natural resources and reducing the demand on external resources.
In summary, the interior design project for this house is an inspiring example of how the search for calm, harmony and sustainability can converge in an exceptional living space. By integrating aesthetic beauty with functionality and environmental responsibility, this project exemplifies the power of interior design to create homes that nurture body, mind and planet.
