It is possible to enjoy a delicious gastronomic experience facing the sea at El Serbal restaurant, one of the six restaurants in Cantabria awarded with Michelin stars. Its magnificent location in El Sardinero offers privileged views from anywhere in the dining room.
The panoramic view of the Sardinero beach, the coast and the boats anchored at the entrance to the bay is impressive, and is complemented by the market cuisine of chef José Ramón Bustamante, who presents dishes with signature touches, in coordination with the director of the restaurant, Rafael Prieto.
After 22 years on Andrés del Río street, El Serbal moved to this new location, in a well-known building in the city of Santander, occupying the first floor from which diners enjoy privileged views of the Cantabrian coast.
The building is located right on the edge of the promenade, rising from the beach until it reaches the height of the promenade, which shows its close connection with the sea. The dining room, located in the upper part where the restaurant is located, has been favorably renovated, presenting a minimalist environment with a predominance of wood. With 15 tables, the interior space is bright thanks to the large windows that surround the room.
Even the bathrooms in this establishment follow the theme of connection to the sea, since they have replicas of the second class washbasins of the Titanic, a collaboration between Bathco and the Titanic Foundation.
