The Primavera Park Hotel stands out as the flagship establishment of a business group that aimed to position the Primavera Hotels brand in the hotel scene of Benidorm. The task was entrusted to the Óscar Vidal studio, which faced the challenge of completely restructuring the hotel, which was initially conceived as an apartment hotel, and transforming it into a landmark within the city.
The hotel building had strong points, as its curved facade gave it a prominent presence in the surroundings. From the upper floors, guests could enjoy a privileged view of the sea and the landscape to the west of the city.
From an aesthetic point of view, the Óscar Vidal studio sought to enhance the presence of nature by increasing the use of vegetation, natural fiber furniture, neutral colors, and wooden cladding. The goal was to emphasize the company’s motto: “An oasis in the heart of Benidorm.”
One of the crucial changes in the hotel’s restructuring was the entrance, which was moved from Verano Street, a secondary road, to Primavera Street, a much more visible location near the town hall and surrounding areas. The concept involved creating a large independent lobby with a curved glass structure, reaching a height of 6 meters, to generate a sense of solidity and spaciousness.
The main pool is one of the hotel’s major attractions. It is an infinity pool located on the rooftop, specifically on the 17th floor, where guests can enjoy the sensation of floating above the city.
In the rooms, a backdrop featuring palm trees and the beach was created, providing a sophisticated composition with a combination of wood and black tones, moving away from the typical Mediterranean postcard aesthetic. For the suites, an open layout was chosen, with the bathroom and bedroom connected but differentiated. In these spaces, we can find the Carnac washbasin by Bathco, which stands out with its natural finish and engraved exterior, complementing the breathtaking presence of the landscape through the large windows.
