The commitment to using new materials in the bathroom and the diversity of their collections were the key factors that drew distributors, large purchasing groups, architects and interior designers to the Bathco stand at each of the trade shows in which it participated over the course of this year.
In the words of the export director of Bathco, Ana Cobo: “Trade shows have served to deepen ties with customers, to generate new contacts and to gauge interest in the new products on display. Something that is essential if we want to outline a strategy for launching them internationally.”
Bathco surpasses expectations at Cevisama 2017
In the case of Cevisama 2017, Bathco celebrated the overall success of this trade show that this year drew over 80,000 visitors, surpassing the excellent attendance figures of the previous year. Numerous professionals and companies in the sector visited the company’s stand, with a 25% increase over the number of visitors last year.
In the words of its CEO, José López, “domestically this trade show has served to strengthen commercial relationships with our customers, who marvel at our ability bring out new products year after year”. On the other hand, he says that “internationally, Cevisama has been key for closing new agreements and increasing our presence in markets as important as North American and the Middle East”.
Bathco strengthens its international presence at ISH 2017
For another year, Bathco fulfilled its expectations at ISH 2017, closing with a very positive tally of visits and having made new contacts that will enable it to continue opening up markets internationally.
For the five days of the show, the visits by European companies to the Bathco booth (62.6% of the total number) stood out, led by Germany, the host country, and followed by Ukraine and Romania.
Additionally, the presence of Asian countries like India, Israel and Iran was noteworthy. The American continent was represented mainly by Mexico, the United States and Ecuador. For their part, South Africa, Kenya and Tunisia topped the list of African visitors, while Australia and New Zealand represented Oceania.
Project Lebanon, meeting point for the industry
Bathco’s new products were also presented at the Project Lebanon trade show in Beirut, an event that served to maintain its business and economic relationships in Lebanon and with all the communities with ties to that country: Africa, the Gulf States and Europe.
Thanks to the company’s collaboration with its official distributor, Clemenceau Farah Co. & Sons, penetration of the Lebanese market has been extended beyond the Middle East, and the company’s sales network has expanded.
Next event, Cevisama 2018
Bathco will be present at Cevisama 2018, the international trade fair for ceramics for architecture, bathroom and kitchen equipment, natural stone, raw materials, enamels, frits and machinery, from 5 to 9 February at the Feria de Valencia.
In a 570-m2 stand, divided into two floors and designed by Joan Sabata, Bathco will present its new products for the coming year, highlighting the updated Natural Series collection. The new pieces in stone, Solid Surface and cement stand out for the lightness of their lines. Here the Thin concept becomes part of the name of the new models thanks to a slimming of the walls of the washbasins.
